Corona virus: Updated information

The autumn semester has stated, and Queen Maud University College of Early Childhood Education is continuously following the development of the COVID-19 situation and is adhering to the advice from the authorities.

Updated August 25th 2020.

We want to assure you that the health, safety and welfare of our students and staff is our main priority.

QMUC is planning for a mix of physical and digital instruction for the autumn semester and plans to give all students the opportunity to participate in some instruction on campus. Access to campus building presupposes that both students and staff members take responsibility for following infection prevention measures.

Both inbound and outbound student exchange is cancelled for the autumn semester of 2020. All planned staff motilities to and from QMUC are deferred for the time being. As a means to continue with exchange and internationalization of our curriculum, we will pilot a “virtual exchange” project with a few selected partners in the autumn semester.

We hope to be able to receive incoming students in the spring semester. With the uncertainties surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus, we will keep partner institutions and nominated students informed if the continuation of the pandemic situation requires us to make changes to the program and the offer.
