“We will have an increased focus on sustainable development and social entrepreneurship in early childhood education. The international students will work together with local students on a project of change.” says Gjertrud Stordal, course coordinator for the new offer.
“There has been a wish, both from international students and local students to do more together, and with this new course offer we provide a basis for this. We strive to make an inclusive environment where there students learn together and from each other.” Stordal continues.
The offer in the autumn semester will consist of two courses:
- Early Childhood Education and Care in Norway (15 ECTS credits)
- Early Childhood Education and Care Institutions for Sustainability (15 ECTS)
More information will come later in the spring semester.
In the spring semester we will continue to offer two courses (20 ECTS + 10 ECTS).
