DMMH received the status of an accredited university college in 2008. The student perspective is highly valued in the daily life of the college. We aim to educate competent and reflective kindergarten teachers and leaders who will meet children with respect and guide them in their formative process.
Engagement, dialogue, and diversity are keywords that characterize our college.
We place great emphasis on combining theory and practice, and we strive to contribute to both academic and personal development through a good social environment and close follow-up of our students.
In addition to theoretical and practical teaching, we conduct extensive research and development activities related to the kindergarten field, including through the college's own commissioning unit.
DMMH engages actively in international work through the exchange of students and teachers, network collaboration, R&D collaboration, and educational collaboration.
In line with our efforts for increased sustainability and decent work, work is underway to implement the Transparency Act. This work is further described in the document How DMMH Works with the Transparency Act.
DMMH aims for genuine gender equality and treats all employees equally, regardless of ethnicity, disability, language, religion, sexual orientation, and age. This is further described in the Action Plan for Equality and Diversity and the document Work for Equality and Against Discrimination at DMMH
