Jens Zeevaert
Jens Zeevaert is a Landscape Architect educated from Germany and has more than 8 years of experience in the private sector in Norway. He is currently working in Asplan Viak AS, one of Norway's largest engineer and architectural firms. Asplan Viak is an interdisciplinary firm and landscape architecture is one of its areas of expertise. Currently, there are around 90 landscape architects in Asplan Viak, distributed throughout the country.
Jens early became acquainted with the field of landscape architecture through his parents who are also landscape architects. Mandatory visits to playgrounds or new facilities were often on the program on weekends or on holidays. After graduating high school, Jens chose and pursued a landscaping gardener course before commencing the landscape architecture study. The landscaping experience helps Jens to find good solutions to single elements in the outdoor areas he is planning. Through the specializing diploma, he developed specialist competence in "exercise parks", ie new solutions for outdoor physical activity for all age groups. Jens has experience from design of ECEC centers, school facilities, residential areas, parks and urban spaces.
Jens contributes to EnCompetence, especially in the work of interpretation of results, the development of criteria and the planning and implementation of the interventions in the ECEC centers.
