Oria is a discovery tool / search engine that allows you to search the library’s resources, books, articles, magazines, music, movies and online resources etc.
Loans
Students are automatically registered as borrowers at the start of the studies. The student ID card is also library card.
The borrower is responsible to make sure that the registered details are correct. Students must register changes in contact information etc. on Studentweb.
All items that are brought out of the library shall be registered. The borrower is personally responsible for everything registered on the library card.
Books may be borrowed for a period of four weeks, with some exceptions. Loans must be renewed or returned by the expiration date. A loan may usually be renewed if the item is not reserved for others.
You may renew a loan yourself or reserve items by logging in to oria.no and choosing «My Account».
The library also has MP3 players for lending.
Journal databases
The library offers access to several journal databases with full text articles via oria.no.
NB! As the library subscribes to these journals, you must use a computer on campus or QMUC’s wireless network in order to access full text articles. Open access journals do not have these restrictions.
