Courses for international students

Study and experience how topics such as learning through play, outdoor play and risky play are implemented in Norwegian early childhood education institutions. Or, if you are a master's student, work on an art project and learn from engaged teachers and fellow students.
A prerequisite for participating in the courses is that the student has an acceptable level of English as this is the language used in the modules.

Courses - bachelor's level

QMUC offers two courses at bachelor's level. Both courses provide experiences, insight and knowledge about everyday life in Norwegian early childhood education and care institutions.

Simultaneously, the students will be introduced to the Nordic view on play and learning, the Nordic view on children and childhood, the close relationship to nature and outdoor experiences, as well as children’s rights to participation.

The in-depth unit is both theoretical with lectures where the student is expected to take part in theoretical discussions, and practical with work outdoors, observations in kindergartens etc.
