Ole Johan Sando

Ole Johan Sando is an Assistant Professor, employed at QMUC. He has taught in the subject Physical Education and Health at ECEC teacher education since 2010. Prior to joining QMUC, he studied Sports Science and Pedagogy at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Ole Johan has previously conducted researched on how the safety focus in society affects children's opportunities for physically active play, injuries and accidents in ECEC and young children’s outdoor activities.

Ole Johan is a PhD student in EnCompetence and works full time on the project throughout the project period. He is therefore involved in all parts of the project and will also write his PhD thesis based of project results; with a particular focus on how the physical environment in ECEC is related children's well-being and level of physical activity.
