Rune Storli

Rune Storli is an Associate Professor at QMUC, Department of Physical Education and Health. Storli finished his Master in Sport Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1997, where he studied motor skills and skills development. He has since worked at several institutions in the university college sector and taught physical education and outdoor life at all levels.

Since 2002, Storli has been employed at QMUC, where he has mainly served as a teacher on the ECEC teacher education with focus on nature and outdoor Life. In his research work, Rune has two main areas of interest: 1) Children's physically active play in the outdoor environment, and 2) Rough-and-tumble play in ECEC. He has been publishing several international scientific articles on these research themes.

Rune is a researcher in this project, EnCompetence, and participates in all phases and the overall processes of the project; from planning and conducting the data collection to analysis, interpretation and publishing / dissemination.
