Mandatory tuberculosis testing

Students from countries which have a high occurrence of tuberculosis are obliged to undergo tuberculosis testing before they start the course.
All students following our international courses will have 35 days of practical training in an early childhood setting. Students from countries which have a high occurrence of tuberculosis are obliged to undergo tuberculosis testing before they start the course.

To take the test you should arrive before a Monday when the course starts on a Wednesday or Thursday to enable enough time for the test and getting the result.

To avoid being sent home if you are infected, it is a good idea to undergo testing in your home country before arriving in Norway. However, you still have to undergo the test in Norway, and only the test results here are acknowledged.

On this webpage you find an overview of countries with high occurrence of tuberculosis.
